Early autumn greetings to all! We hope that you are all in good health.
We would like to thank you sincerely for your good offices.
Thank you for your participation in the 2009 J-League Under 12 Festival.
We were pleasantly surprised to see how the children , through soccer, overcame language barriers and other cultural differences during their experience with people from countries other than their own.
We deeply hope that Taiwan soccer can continue its strong development now, and into the future.

Attached are some pamphlets for the next J-League Under 12 Festival. There are only a limited number of pamphlets but please take the time to read and enjoy them.

How to drive an Automatic Transition Vehicle

Characteristics of an Automatic Transition Vehicle

About “creeping”

“Creeping” is a characteristic of an automatic transition vehicle where the vehicle moves slowly forward during any gear, other than P or N. This happens even when the accelerator is not pushed.

About “Kick-down”

“Kick-down” is a characteristic where the vehicle can reach high speeds quickly, when the accelerator is pushed firmly down while driving.

Use the right foot for the brake pedal

In order to prevent pushing the wrong pedal, it is important to use the right foot when pushing both the accelerator, and the brake pedal.

Before starting the engine

Check the positioning of the accelerator and the brakepedal with the right foot.
Check that the gear lever is set at P.

Starting the engine

While holding the right foot on the brake pedal, start the engine.
If the engine has trouble starting up without pressing the accelerator, change from pushing the brake pedal after turning on the engine.

After running the engine

Immediately after starting the engine, the engine revolutions will increase, in turn increasing the amount of “creeping”.
Press the brake pedal firmly.

Operating the gear lever

Change the gear lever while pushing down on the brake pedal with the right foot.
Don’t use the gear lever while using the accelerator. This can cause sudden forward movement and result in accident.
When in R gear, a buzzer can be heard. Note that this buzzer can not be heard from outside of the vehicle.

Starting off

When starting off, take the foot off the brake pedal little by little, and slowly press down on the accelerator.

Driving

While driving, do not put the gear lever into N.
If the gear is mistakenly changed to P or R while driving, the engine brake will fail to work, and this could lead to an unexpected accident. Also, this could cause damage to the transmission.
Do not change a 3 speed vehicle into L, or a 4 speed vehicle into 2, when driving at high speed. This could activate the engine brake suddenly, and cause an unexpected accident.

Stopping

With use of the air-conditioner and so on, the engine revolutions will increase, in turn increasing the amount of “creeping”. Press down on the brake pedal firmly.
When parked, do not recklessly push down on the accelerator. By chance, if the gear lever is in a gear other than P or N, this could cause the vehicle to unexpectedly surge forward.

Parking

When parking, push down on the brake pedal while simultaneously pressing the parking brake pedal, and shift the gear lever in to P.
By changing the gear lever to P while the vehicle is still moving, this could lead to a sudden halt in the vehicle, and could also cause damage to the transmission.

Stop the engine, and take out the key when leaving the vehicle. There is a chance that “creeping” will occur if the car is not left in P or N, and this could lead to the vehicle moving by itself. There is also a chance that when boarding the vehicle, the accelerator could be mistakenly pressed, leading to sudden forward movement.

Be careful about the following:

Even when moving the vehicle a small distance, drive safely, and make sure the accelerator and brake pedals can be pushed safely without problem.

After reversing a small distance, it is easy to forget that the vehicle is still in R. Get into the habit of changing the gear to P or N immediately after stopping the vehicle.

When reversing the car the driver’s body becomes twisted looking backwards, and this makes it difficult to use the pedals. Make sure that the brake pedal can be firmly pressed at these times.

When switching back and forth between D and R (3 speed vehicle), or D4 and R (4 speed vehicle), remember to press down firmly on the brake pedal each time, and to move after the vehicle has completely stopped.
If the vehicle is still moving while being switched from P and R, This can lead to damage to the transmission of the vehicle.

オートマチック車の特性

クリープ現象とは・・

セレクターレバーをＰ、Ｎ以外に入れると動力がつながった状態となり、アクセルペダルを踏まなくても車がゆっくりと動き出すオートマチック車特有の現象。

キックダウンとは・・

走行中にアクセルペダルを深く踏み込むと、自動的に低速ギヤに切り換わり急加速ができます。これをキックダウンといいます。

ブレーキペダルは右足で

踏み間違いを防ぐために、ブレーキペダルとアクセルペダルは右足で踏み、その位置を確認して足におぼえさせておくことが大切です。

エンジンをかける前に

アクセルペダルとブレーキペアダルの位置を右足で確認してください。
セレクターレバーがＰの位置にあることを確認してください。

エンジンをかけるときは

ブレーキペダルを右足で踏んだままエンジンをかけます。
アクセルペダルを踏まないとエンジンがかかりにくいときは、エンジンをかけてから足をブレーキペダルに踏みかえます。

エンジン始動後

エンジン始動直後は、自動的にエンジン回転数が高くなり、クリープ現象が強くなります。
ブレーキペダルをしっかり踏んでください。

セレクターレバーを操作するときは

ブレーキペダルを右足で踏んだままセレクトーレバーを操作します。

アクセルペダルを踏み込みながらセレクターレバーを操作しないでください。
急発進し、重大な事故につながるおそれがあります。

Ｒに入れるとブザーが鳴ります。ブザーは車の外には聞こえませんので注意してください。

発進するときは

発進するときは、ブレーキペダルから徐々に足を離し、アクセルペダルをゆっくり踏み込んでください。

走行中は

走行中は、セレクターレバーをＮに入れないでください。
誤ってＰ，Ｒに入れてしまったり、エンジンブレーキがまったく効かなくなり、思わぬ事故の原因になります。また、トランスミッションの故障の原因になります。

高速走行中に３速オートマチック車はセレクターレバーをＬ、４速オートマチック車はセレクターレバーを２に入れないでください。
急激なエンジンブレーキがかかり、思わぬ事故の原因になります。

停車中は

エアコン作動時などは、自動的にエンジン回転数が高くなり、クリープ現象が強くなります。ブレーキペダルをしっかり踏んでください。

停車中は、むやみに空ぶかしをしないでください。
万一、セレクターレバーがＰ，Ｎ以外に入っていた場合、思わぬ急発進の原因になります。

駐車するときは

駐車するときは、ブレーキペダルを踏んだまま駐車ブレーキを確実にかけ、セレクターレバーをＰに入れます。

車が完全に止まらないうちにＰに入れると、急停止してけがをするおそれがあります。　また、トランスミッションの故障の原因になります。

車から離れるときは、必ずエンジンを止め、キーを抜いてください。エンジンをかけたままにしておくと、万一、セレクターレバーがＰ，Ｎ以外に入った場合、クリープ現象で車がひとりでに動き出したり、乗り込むときに誤ってアクセルペダルを踏み、急発進するおそれがあります。

その他に気をつけること

車が少し移動させるときでも、正しい運転姿勢をとり、ブレーキペダルとアクセルペダルが確実にふめるようにしてください。

少しだけ後退したときなどは、セレクターレバーがＲに入っていることを忘れてしまうときがあります。後退した後は、すぐにＲからＰまたはＮに戻す習慣をつけましょう。

車を後退させるときは、身体を後ろにひねった姿勢になり、ペダルの操作しにくくなります。ブレーキペダルが確実に踏めるように注意してください。

切り返しなどで３速オートマチック車はＤからＲ，ＲからＤ，４速オートマチック車はＤ４からＲ、ＲからＤ４と何度もレバーを操作するときは、そのつどブレーキペダルをしっかりと踏み、車を完全に止めてから行ってください。
車が動いているうちにＰやＲに入れると、トランスミッションの故障の原因になります。

Use when the connecting device’s sound input is split into a left/right terminal.

7. DVD Select Digital Sound Output terminal (Page 23)

Connects with a digital input terminal.

*When connecting to a digital cable, remove the cap and firmly insert into the terminal. When the terminal is not in use, refasten the cap in order to prevent dirt from forming around the terminal.

8. DVD Select D1/D2 Image Output terminal (Page 22)

Connect with a device which has a D1 or D2 terminal. With one cable component images can be input into the player.

9. DVD Select S Image Output terminal (Page 21)

Connect with a device which has an S video input terminal. Use when the connecting device has no component input terminal.

③ UHF/VHF入力端子（P19）

テレビから外したアンテナ線をつなぎます。

④ UHF/VHF出力端子（P19）

テレビのアンテナ入力端子とつなぎます。

⑤ 入力１端子（P58）

他のビデオやビデオカメラなどの外部機器からの映像・音声をダビングしたいときにお使いください。デジタルCS放送を受信するときは、入力自動録画をするために、別売のデジタルCSチューナーからの映像・声音コードをここへつないでください。

⑥ DVD専用音声出力端子（左／右）（P21）

接続する機器の音声入力がL／R端子のみのときにつなぎます。

⑦ DVD専用デジタル音声光出力端子（P23）

デジタル入力端子(光)がついている機器とつなぎます。

＊光デジタルケーブルを接続するときは、キャップをはずし、形状を合わせて奥までしっかり差し込んでください。端子を使わないときは、ほこりが付かないようキャップを取り付けてください。

⑧　DVD専用D1／D2映像出力端子（P22）

D1またはD2端子のある機器とつなぎます。ケーブル１本でコンポーネント入力をすることができます。

⑨　DVD専用S映像出力端子（P21）

Sビデオ映像入力端子のある機器とつなぐことができます。接続する機器にコンポーネント入力端子が無いときに使います。

Troubleshooting

Please check the following points thoroughly before seeking help.

When I press the keypad nothing works

*Is the power cord plugged in?

*Has the panel blown a fuse? Is the circuit breaker broken?

*Is the door closed properly?

Food won’t heat up

*Is the food covered in aluminum foil or placed in a metallic container?

*Were the ‘start’ or ‘automatic’ keys pushed?

*Does the display panel indicate that the microwave is on ‘demo’ mode?

Things can not be heated up while in this mode.

- Unplug the oven and wait a few seconds. When the microwave is restarted, ‘demo’ mode will be cancelled.

There are sparks

*Does the container contain gold or silver wire or lining?

*Is there aluminum or another kind of metallic substance touching the inner walls of the microwave?

*Is the amount of food being heated too small? (Page 23)

*Is there dirt around the area of the radio wave emitter or the bottom of the microwave?
(Page 28)

There is a bad smell / smoke

*Was the preheat function used? (Page 12)

(When oil inside the microwave is burned off, this can produce smoke or an odor).

*Is there oil, or food remains, stuck to the inside of the door or microwave?

- If the smell of the inside of the microwave is a concern, after wiping off the dirt, please preheat the oven for ten minutes. (Page 12)

The completed dish is of a poor standard

*Were the ingredients, amount, and cooking instructions followed correctly?

*While heating, was the door opened frequently?

*When using a different recipe book there may be differences in the finished product.

While heating, or after heating, there is a strange noise

*The heat controller makes a clicking sound while heating.

*Other slight buzzing noises that occur while heating, as well as noise due to food expanding or shrinking, is all natural. This does not mean the machine is broken.

While heating, the sound changes and/or the inside lamp changes in brightness

*At 60Hz the sound and inside lamp both change periodically.

The white dish and revolving grate rotate left and right

*The direction of rotation is not set, and moves both left and right.

The electric display flickers

*Does the display panel indicate that the microwave is on ‘demo’ mode?

Things can not be heated up while in this mode.

- Unplug the oven and wait a few seconds. When the microwave is restarted, ‘demo’ mode will be cancelled.

The electric display panel or door gets clouded up and water drops form

*During winter, or depending on the recipe, there are occasions when the door or electric display panel cloud up.

Use a cloth to wipe when drops or dew form on the inside of the door.

食品が加熱されない

・レンジ加熱のとき、食品が金属容器・アルミホイルなどでおおわれていませんか。

・表示部に「デモ」が表示されていますか？

店頭展示用（デモ）モードになっています。キーを押しても加熱されません。

→電源プラグを抜いて数秒後に再度差込んでください「デモ」が消え、デモモードが解除されます。

火花が出る

・金・銀模様の容器、針金など金属を使った容器を使用していませんか。

・庫内の壁にアルミホイル、金串など金属が触れていませんか。

・食品の量がきわめて少なくありませんか。　→２３ページ

・電波出口、庫内底面に汚れがついてませんか。　→２８ページ

煙が出たり、いやなにおいがする

・カラ焼きをしましたか。　→１２ページ

庫内の油を焼き切るため、煙やにおいが出ますが、故障ではありません。

・ 庫内やドアの内側に食品カス、油などがついていませんか。

→庫内のにおいが気になるときは、汚れをふきとった後でカラ焼きをしてください。

調理のでき上がりが悪い

・ メニューの材料、分量、作り方を確認してください。

・ 加熱中、ひんぱんにドアを開閉しませんでしたか。

・ 他の料理ブックを使った場合、でき上がりが多少異なることがあります。

加熱中、加熱後に音がする

・ 加熱中にカチカチする音は、加熱をコントロール（制御）している音です。

・ レンジ加熱中、「ブーン」「ジィージィー」等の音は、レンジの作動音で故障ではありません。

・ 熱による膨張、収縮でポコッ、キシキシという音が出ることがあります。

加熱中に音・庫内灯の明るさが変化する

・ ６０Hzのときは断続運転となるため、レンジの動作音・庫内灯の明るさが周期的に変化します。

丸皿、回転アミが左右に回る

・ 回転方向は一定ではなく、左右どちらも回ります。

表示がチカチカする

・表示部に「デモ」が表示されていますか？

店頭展示用（デモ）モードになっています。キーを押しても加熱されません。

→電源プラグを抜いて数秒後に再度差込んでください「デモ」が消え、デモモードが解除されます。

表示部がくもるドアがくもり、水滴が落ちる

・ 冬場やメニューにより、ドアの内側や表示部がくもることがあります。

→ドアの内側に露がつき、床にたれたときは、布でふいてください。

Preparation and Confirmation

Put the power plug into the wall socket.

Turn the water supply stopcock.
(Open fully by turning the knob to the left until it stops).

Turn the gas tap on.
(Make sure the knob is turned as far left as possible).

*After the power (AC100V) has been turned on the machine will not operate for approximately 20-30 seconds as an initial safety check will take place. Please wait for this before proceeding.

How to dispense the hot water (Without using a remote-control).

The hot water that comes out when the hot water tap is turned on is approximately 60C. Mix well with cold water when initially turning on the tap.

1. First turn on the cold water tap, followed by the hot water tap.

2. Use the taps to adjust the water to the appropriate temperature.

3. Turn off the hot water tap, followed by the cold water tap.

The temperature of the hot water is generally set at 60C, however it can be set to either 42.5C, 50C, or 70C. Inquire at the place of purchase, or nearest Paloma shop if you wish to change the temperature setting.

準備と確認

給水元栓を全開にしてください
つまみは左まで止まるまで回し、必ず全開で使用してください。

ガス栓を全開にしてください
必ず全開で使用してください。

＊電源（AC100V)を入れた直後（約２０～３０秒間）は安全のための初期動作確認を行っていますので運転しません。しばらく待ってから操作してください。

お湯の出しかた（リモコンがない場合）

給湯栓を開くと約６０℃のお湯が出ますので水を混ぜながらお使いください。

１．混合水栓を水側・お湯側の順で開ける
２．混合水栓でお好みの湯温に調節する
３．混合水栓をお湯側・水側の順で閉める

お湯の温度は、通常６０℃に設定されていますが、４２．５℃、５０℃または、７０℃に変更することもできます。ご希望があれば、お買い上げの販売店かお近くのパロマまでお問い合わせください。

警告
開けるときは水側（たっぷり）・お湯側（少しずつ）、閉めるときはお湯側・水側の順に行う
→お湯側だけを開くと高温のお湯が出るので、やけどのおそれがあります。

Preparation 1: Connecting the machine

Connect the attached antenna and cord in the order shown from 1-5.

The attached antenna is for indoor use only.

For a more stable reception a separate antenna (not included) is recommended.

For information on connecting to equipment which is sold separately to this player, please

refer to page 75.

1. Connecting the speaker.

If there is a difference between left and right in the speakers, the speaker terminal marked ‘R’ is the designated right speaker terminal and the speaker terminal marked ‘L’ is the left speaker terminal.

1. Connect the speaker cord of the same color in the speaker terminal.

2. Slightly pull the cord to see if it is connected correctly. If the speaker cord comes out when slightly pulled, try to connect it again. If the cord is pushed in too far, to the point where the plastic coating of the wire is pinched, sound will not come out of the speaker.

Caution: Please keep the speaker cord separated from the antenna cord as this will cause disturbance in the radio transmission.
Place the speaker terminal marked ‘R’ to the right side of the deck, and the terminal marked ‘L’ to the left side of the deck.

2. Connecting the AM Antenna.

The structure of the included AM antenna..

This antenna is designed to easily receive AM radio transmission. Do not remove the cord from the frame or roll it up.

Assembling the AM antenna.

1. Remove the looped area of cord from the stand.
Assemble the stand by setting it upright and placing the frame into the groove.

Connecting the AM antenna.

1. Put the antenna cord into the AM antenna terminal.

2. Slightly pull the cord to see if it is connected correctly. If the cord comes out when slightly pulled, try to connect it again.

3. Connecting the FM Antenna

The structure of the FM antenna.

A. Point the antenna in an area of good reception and stick to the wall or ceiling. The cord is made at a length of approximately 145cm to ensure good reception. Do not pull apart or cut the cord.

B. The whole cord acts as an antenna. Do not roll it up.

C. This part is to be connected into the FM antenna connector.

Assembling the FM Antenna.

1. Remove the plastic covers of the tip of part ‘c’.

2. Wrap the tip of the cord around the FM antenna connector and screw down tight.

Connecting the FM Antenna.

Plug into the FM antenna terminal.

4. Connecting the power cord.

After all of the above connections have been made, push the power plug into the wall socket.

5. Fastening the FM Antenna.

After following the instructions on receiving and choosing radio stations on page 9 (Preparation 3: Putting radio stations into the decks memory), please attach the antenna to the wall or ceiling as instructed below.

1. Holding a string of wire in each hand, rotate the body until an area of optimum reception is found.

2. Once this is found, tape or tack the wire to the wall or ceiling.

Putting batteries into the remote control.

Be sure to place the batteries into the remote control minus end first as illustrated below.

Note: Batteries should usually be replaced about every six months. Please replace the batteries when the range of use of the remote control becomes limited.

準備１：本機をつなぐ

付属のアンテナやコードを１～５の順につなぎます。

付属のアンテナは室内用です。安定した受信のために市販の外部アンテナの接続をおすすめします。

外部アンテナを含め、別売り機器の接続については、７５ページをご覧ください。

１． スピーカーをつなぐ

スピーカーに左右の区別がある場合は、「R」と書かれたスピーカー端子には右用（R）スピーカー、「L」と書かれた端子には左用（L）スピーカーをつなぎます。

１．本機のスピーカーのスピーカー端子に、同じ色のスピーカーコードをつなぐ。

２．スピーカーコードを軽く引いてみて、正しく接続されたことを確認する。

スピーカーコードが端子から抜けてしまったときは、もう一度つなぎ直してください。また、差し込みすぎてビニール部分がはさまると音がでません。

ご注意

· スピーカーコードはアンテナから離してください。ラジオ受信時の雑音の原因になります。

· R端子につないだスピーカーを向かって右へ、L端子につないだスピーカーを左へ置いてください。

２． AMアンテナをつなぐ

付属のAMアンテナの構造

AMの電波を受信しやすい形状、長さになっている。はずしたり、丸めたりしない。

AMアンテナを組み立てる

１．ループになっている部分のみをプラスチックスタンドからはずす。

２．スタンド状に組み立てる。台を起こし、溝にはめます。

AMアンテナをつなぐ

１．AMアンテナ端子にアンテナコードをつなぐ。

２．アンテナコードを軽く引いてみて、正しく接続されたことを確認する。

スピーカーコードが端子から抜けてしまったときは、もう一度つなぎ直してください。

３． FMアンテナをつなぐ

付属のFMフィーダーアンテナの構造

A. 受信状態の良い方向へ向け、壁や天井に貼りつける。FMの電波を受信しやすい長さ（約１４５ｃｍ）になっているのでこれ以上さかない。

B. 全体がアンテナになっていて、前面で受信する。丸めたりしない。

C. FMアンテナコネクターへの差し込み部分。

FMアンテナの組み立てる

１．差し込み部分Cのカバーをはずす。

２．付属のFMアンテナコネクターに先端を巻きつけて、ネジをしっかりしめる。

FMアンテナをつなぐ

FMアンテナ端子へつなぐ。

４． 電源コードをつなぐ

すべての接続を終えたら、壁のコンセントへ電源プラグを差し込みます。

５． FMアンテナをはる

「準備３：ラジオ局を本機に記憶させる」（９ページ）の手順３でFM局を選んで受信したあと、次のようにアンテナを壁や天井を貼ってください。

１．両手でアンテナの先を持ち、体の向きを変えながら受信状態のよい向きを探す。

２．方向が決まったら、画鋲やテープで貼りつける。

リモコンに電源を入れる

必ずイラストのようにー極側から電池を入れてください。

ちょっと一言

電池の交換時期は約６ヶ月です。リモコン操作できる距離が短くなったら、２個とも新しい乾電池に交換してください。
